摘　　要：科伦·麦凯恩在《隧道尽头的光明》中借助主人公“树蛙”的视角描写沃克家族三代人在纽约的人生际遇,以凄美的笔触为国际大都市的地下世界画像,描绘了隧道居住群体所经历的劳作、困顿与人情冷暖。“隧道”作为一个阈限空间,以其特有的阈限共同体沟通与共情本质,为该空间的边缘群体提供独特的生存空间,并透过个体叙事审视集体记忆,助其构筑个体身份与集体认同、建立短暂的情感联结,彰显该空间共同体在后现代社会中的积极疗愈作用。In This Side of Brightness,Colum McCann depicts the life experiences of three generations of the Walkers in New York through the perspective of the protagonist,"Tree Frog".The novel paints a picture of the underground world of the international metropolis,depicting the labor and hardships of the immigrants,and the warmth of the temporary community under the tunnel.As a liminal space,Tunnel provides for the marginalized groups a unique living space with its unique nature of communication and empathy.It also helps them construct individual and collective identity,and establish transient emotional connections through individual narratives,highlighting the positive healing effect of this spatial community in postmodern society.
