Objective To study the effect of chain nursing process management on preventing contrast agent extravasation in enhanced CT scanning. Methods 180 patients who received enhanced CT scanning in our hospital from 2022 to 2024 were randomly divided into control group(90 cases)and intervention group(90 cases). The control group was managed by routine nursing process, while the intervention group was managed by chain nursing process. The incidence of contrast agent extravasation, contrast agent extravasation classification, nursing quality and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results Compared to the control group, the intervention group saw a decreased rate of extravasation(P<0.05).The contrast agent extravasation grade in the intervention group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The rate of readiness, examination success rate and excellent image quality in the intervention group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the intervention group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Chain nursing process management can reduce the contrast agent extravasation rate and contrast agent extravasation classification of patients with enhanced CT scanning, improve nursing quality and reduce adverse reactions.
