摘  要:Dear Editor,High-yield,high-quality,and stress-tolerant forage crops are crucial for the sustainable development of grass-based livestock husbandry.Medicago species are among the most important legume forage crops worldwide.Alfalfa(Medicago sativa subsp.sativa,M.sativa ssp.sativa),a crop known as the“Queen of the Forages”,has high biomass productivity,high nutritional value,and good adaptability.
