摘　　要：It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Academician Wang Zhengguo,the founder of this journal.He passed away at 9:26 a.m.on January 5,2025,in Shanghai,at the age of 89.In accordance with Professor Wang Zhengguo's last wish,his bodywas donated to the Department of Anatomy of the Naval Medical University of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.
