从“反抗”到“妥协”——《流浪女伶》和《吉吉》中柯莱特的“女性主义”

摘  要:法国女作家西多妮·加布里埃尔·柯莱特在《流浪女伶》中讲述了女主人公勒内为摆脱传统家庭模式束缚,以追求自由独立的“反抗”生活。她的“反抗精神”为后来女权主义理论基础的奠定提供了灵感来源。而在《吉吉》中,作者却通过女主角吉吉表现出了女性对于爱情的追求和对婚姻的“妥协”,选择婚姻、拥抱爱情是小说的“完美结局”。“反抗”精神具有进步意义,但“反抗”需要女性承担因愤怒与压抑而带来的痛苦,并可能使人产生逃离的冲动。而“妥协”精神虽然在一部分女性身上表现出了落后性,却在另一些女性身上展现出了积极的一面。对于女性来说,无论是“反抗”还是“妥协”,了解自己所爱,做出自己的选择,选择自己想要的生活方式,才是至关重要的。French female writer Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette narrates in The Vagabond the story of the heroine Renée,who seeks to break the constraints of traditional family patterns and pursue a re-bellious life of freedom and independence.Her“spirit of resistance”serves as an inspiration for the creation of feminist theories in later times.In Gigi,however,the writer shows women’s pursuit of love and“compromise”in marriage through the protagonist Gigi,with choosing marriage and embrac-ing love as the“happy ending”of the novel.The“spirit of resistance”holds progressive significance,but women experiencing“resistance”may bear the pain caused by anger and suppression,possibly leading to the impulse to escape.On the other hand,the“spirit of compromise”,although exhibiting backwardness in some women,reveals a positive aspect in others.For women,whether it is“resis-tance”or“compromise”,understanding what they love,making their own choices,and selecting the lifestyle they desire are most crucial in their own life.
