摘　　要：海外华人聚落作为华人文化在海外的重要载体,其研究意义深远而重大。《马来西亚玻璃口新村华人》一书通过深度田野调查与跨学科综合分析,全面揭示了马来西亚彭亨州文冬县玻璃口新村华人的生计模式、文化传统、社会结构及其在全球化背景下的变迁与适应。该书运用口述史方法详尽地描述当地生活,是海外华人聚落研究在研究方法上的新突破,具有较强的借鉴意义。Overseas Chinese settlements are important carriers of Chinese culture abroad,and their study holds significant and far-reaching importance.The book The Chinese in Glass Mouth NewVillage Malaysia uses in-depth fieldwork and interdisciplinary analysis to comprehensively reveal the livelihoods,cultural traditions,social structures,and the changes and adaptations of the Chinese community in Glass Mouth New Village,located in the Bundung District,Pahang State,Malaysia,in the context of globalization.The book employs oral history methods to provide a detailed description of local life,marking a new breakthrough in research methods for the study of overseas Chinese settlements and offering valuable insights for future research.
