With the continuous expansion and development of the urban transportation systems, the situation of shield tunnels across the existing bridges has become increasingly frequent, and the complex working conditions have raised higher requirements for construction control technology.Taking the soil-pressure balance shield tunnel across existing bridge pile foundations as the research object,a comprehensive solution combining pile foundation underpinning and refined construction control is proposed through the combination of theoretical analysis and on-site monitoring. The research results indicate that the pile foundation underpinning technology can ensure the safety of the upper bridge structure and reduce the impact on ground traffic.By optimizing the shield construction parameters, the disturbance effects during the shield pile cutting process are effectively controlled, with the bridge settlement kept within 10 mm,which meets the specification requirements. The on-site monitoring data largely matched the theoretical calculation results, verifying the feasibility and reliability of the proposed method. The research results provide a important theoretical basis and practical reference for similar shield tunnel across existing bridge pile foundation projects.
