摘　　要：莎剧《麦克白》探讨了早期现代国家空间想象中的归属、依附和共同体等核心议题,具有明显的群岛意识和边界政治想象。英格兰与苏格兰群岛之间,以及高地、低地与赫布里底群岛内部,以边界为象征的权力结构及分配始终保持着流动性、渗透性。群岛边界的流动性和渗透性蕴含了构建具有包容性的民族认同的可能性,但群岛的独立性和封闭性又暗藏着彼此之间的权力较量甚至血腥冲突。群岛性的二律背反预示詹姆士联合计划的内在矛盾,同时也显示了莎士比亚对不列颠诸岛民族如何超越单一民族认同的诗学探索。Macbeth,a tragedy by Shakespeare,delves into core issues such as belonging,attachment and community in the spatial imagination of the early modern state,characterized by a distinct archipelagic consciousness and boarder-oriented political imagination.The power dynamics and territorial delineations represented by boarders between England and Scotland-as well as those within the Highlands,Lowlands,and Hebrides-have exhibited fluidity and permeability.The fluidity and permeability of the archipelago's boundaries imply the potential for constructing an inclusive national identity;however,the independence and insular nature of the archipelago also obscure the power struggles among its constituents,which can even lead to violent conflicts.This dialectical tension inherent in archipelagic existence foreshadows the fundamental contradictions within James I's Union Plan and highlights Shakespeare's poetic inquiry into how the peoples of the British Isles might transcend a singular national identity.
