魏应麒的民俗史思想及其实践研究

摘　　要：魏应麒深受“新史学”思潮、民俗运动等影响,主动担起研究福建地方民俗历史文化的使命,他与江鼎伊于1930年春在福州成立“国立中山大学民俗学会福州分会”,在福建《民国日报》上创办《民俗周刊》《图书馆学周刊》,重点研究与福建民众日常生活息息相关的民俗历史文化。魏应麒在顾颉刚、容肇祖等人的学术指导与熏陶下,坚持民俗与史学相结合的研究思想,主张学人用社会科学方法研究地方民俗历史文化并对其中的迷信鬼神进行揭露,实现对民众教化。同时,他提出了建立民俗陈列室、图书馆、历史博物馆等前瞻的主张,尽管由于时局、经费艰困以及场馆不足等问题而没有实现,但至今仍具有现实意义。魏应麒执着的地方民俗历史文化研究追求,尤其将疑古考证的史学研究方法运用到民俗研究中去,撰写了大量的相关文章,为福建的民俗学研究奠定了坚实的基础,也为全国文献研究者提供丰富的材料。Deeply influenced by the“New Historiography”trend and the folklore movement,Wei Yingqi actively undertook the mission of studying Fujian’s local folk history and culture.In the spring of 1930,together with Jiang Dingyi,he established the“Fuzhou Branch of the National Sun Yat-sen University Folklore Society”in Fuzhou and founded Folklore Weekly and Library Science Weekly in Fujian’s Republican Daily,focusing on folklore-history research closely related to the daily lives of Fujian’s people.Under the academic guidance of Gu Jiegang,Rong Zhaozu,and other scholars,Wei adhered to a research philosophy that integrated folklore with historiography.He advocated for scholars to employ social scientific methods to study local folk history and culture while exposing superstitious beliefs,thereby achieving public enlightenment and preaching.Additionally,he proposed forward-thinking initiatives such as establishing folklore exhibition halls,libraries,and historical museums.Although these plans were unrealized due to political instability,financial constraints,and insufficient venues,It is still practically meaningful today.Wei Yingqi’s persistent pursuit of local folklore-history research—particularly his application of critical historical methodologies to folklore studies—resulted in numerous scholarly articles that laid a solid foundation for Fujian’s folklore studies and provided abundant material for researchers nationwide.
