摘　　要：As winter passes by,spring is around the corner.Year in,year out.The Chinese,following their traditional lunar calendar,mark the first day of the lunar new year,known as the Spring Festival.This day signifies the beginning of the Chinese New Year,and people engage in a series of social practices centered around themes of bidding farewell to winter and welcoming spring,saying goodbye to the old and welcoming the new,praying for blessings and good fortune,and fostering reunion and harmony.This celebration,commonly known as“Guo Nian”(celebrating the New Year),is the most important traditional holiday of the Chinese people.冬去春来、年复一年,中国人基于传统历法体系确定正月初一是春节,标志着中国农历新年的开始。人们围绕着送冬迎春、辞旧迎新,祈福纳祥、团圆和谐的节日主题开展一系列社会实践活动,欢度这一中华民族最重要的传统节日俗称“过年”。
