Objective To investigate characteristics and influencing factors in electric bicycle traffic violations among teenagers and to provide a reference for enhancing effective preventive and control measures. Methods This study was a cross-sectional survey which was investigated by convenient sampling method.Data were collected by questionnaire survey about demographic characteristics, mental health status, fatigue status and traffic violations of teenage electric bicycle drivers who were aged 16-25 years in Guangxi province during 2016-2019.t tests,X test, rank sum test and binomial logistic regression analysis were used to analyze its characteristics and influencing factors of traffic violations. Results There were 540 teenage electric bicycle drivers in this study, including 168 males(31.11%)and 372 females(68.89%).The mean age was 21.10±2.71 years old. There were 138 drivers who had committed traffic violations from 2016 to 2019,with a violation rate of 25.56%(138/540).The scores of somatization, obsessive symptoms, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety, hostility, paranoia, psychoticism in the violation group were higher than those in the non-violation group(P<0.05).The scores of physical fatigue and mental fatigue in the violation group were lower than those in non-violation group(P<0.05).Drivers driving at speeds of 25-40 km/h were more likely to commit traffic violations than those who drove at speeds of<25 km/h(OR:2.615,95%CI:1.583-4.319).The OR values of traffic violations for drivers who‘occasional'and‘regular or always'drove on risky roads increased, compared to drivers who‘never'drove on risky roads. The finding indicates that teenage drivers who often rode on risky road had a higher risk of traffic violations(OR:2.652,95%Cl:1.458-4.822;OR:4.631,95%Cl:2.216-9.681).‘Occasional'drinking drive exhibited a higher risk of traffic violations than‘never’drinking drive(OR:2.784,95%CI:1.623-4.775).The risk of traffic violations in a dangerous driving state was 2.462 times higher than in a normal driving cond
