摘 要:在棉花采摘与加工、纺织品制造等过程中,棉纤维与聚乙烯之间的摩擦无处不在,不可避免地会导致机械零部件的磨损。为了提高机器设备的使用寿命,深入研究其摩擦磨损机理至关重要。本研究利用分子动力学方法,从原子角度出发,系统考虑了滑动速度和载荷对晶体棉纤维素与聚乙烯摩擦磨损的影响。在滑动牵引的作用下,聚乙烯分子链的键长和键角偏离其平衡位置,键伸缩能和键角弯曲能增大,聚乙烯分子链沿滑动方向扩散迁移,产生塑性变形。随着滑动速度的增加,聚乙烯分子链扩散迁移和塑性变形增大,产生更多磨损。外加载荷的增大会导致摩擦力增大,但是随着摩擦表面分子排列更加紧密,其摩擦系数减小,在双重因素的作用下,载荷对聚乙烯分子链的扩散迁移和磨损率的影响并不明显。滑动速度相较于载荷对晶体纤维素与聚乙烯摩擦磨损的影响更为显著。这些结果为棉纤维与聚乙烯的摩擦磨损机理研究提供了理论支持,同时也为聚乙烯的损伤保护提供了依据。Friction between cotton fibre and polyethylene is common phenomenon during cotton harvesting and processing,as well as textile manufacturing.This friction can lead to wear and tear of mechanical parts.To prolong the longevity of machines and equipment,it is crucial to conduct a thorough investigation into their friction and wear mechanisms.In this paper,the effects of sliding velocity and load on the frictional wear between crystalline cotton cellulose and polyethylene are systematically investigated from an atomic point of view by means of molecular dynamics methods.Due to the effect of sliding traction,the bond lengths and bond angles of the polyethylene molecular chains deviate from their equilibrium positions.This causes an increase in the bond energy and angle energy,leading to plastic deformation as the polyethylene molecular chain diffuses and migrates along the sliding direction.As the sliding velocity increases,the diffusive migration and plastic deformation of the polyethylene molecular chains increase,resulting in the greater wear.The increasing load not only results in the higher friction force,but also leads to a more compact molecular arrangement on the friction surface,further resulting in a decrease in the coefficient of friction.The influence of load on the diffusive migration and wear rate of polyethylene molecular chains is insignificant under the dual factors.Compared to the load,the effect of sliding speed on the frictional wear between crystalline cellulose and polyethylene is more significant.These results support the theoretical study on the friction and wear mechanisms between cotton fibre and polyethylene and provide a reference for damage protection of polyethylene.
