摘 要:“喫”的较早用例见于三国吴支谦的译经,早于此的用例均不可靠。文章支持郑珍的说法,认为“喫”来源于“齧”,并从字形、字义、字音诸方面进行论证,平山久雄根据《广韵》所引《汉书》的“攻苦■淡”推出“■”即“食”,是“喫”的记音字的说法是正确的,但认为“■”由于其“击打”义而引申出“喫”义则不可信。同时对“喫”由溪母变成昌母的过程进行了多角度的探讨。Based on previous research,this paper presents some new perspectives on the historical usage,origin,and the replacement of the character"喫"for"食",It is proposed that the earliest reliable usage of"喫can be found in the translations of Buddhist scriptures by Zhi Qian(支谦)of the Eastern Wu(吴)during the Three Kingdoms period.The paper supports Zheng Zhen(郑珍)'s view that"喫"originated from"齧",and provides arguments from the aspects of character form,meaning,and pronunciation.It is also pointed out that Hiranuma Kyuyu's claim that"■"in"攻苦■淡"from the Hanshu(汉书)cited in the Guangyun(广韵)is the phonetic loan character for"喫"is correct,but the idea that"■"developed the meaning of"喫"due to its meaning of"beating"is not credible.Additionally,the paper conducts a multi-faceted exploration of the process by which"喫"changed from the initial consonant"k"to"ts".
