摘　　要：马克思、恩格斯的民主思想是一个完整的理论体系,它以真正保证人民当家作主地位为价值目标,以生产资料公有制为物质基础,以坚持无产阶级政党领导为根本保证,以保障人民的选举权、参与权和监督权为实践要求。全过程人民民主既是对马克思、恩格斯民主思想的继承,又是结合新时代中国特色社会主义实践对马克思、恩格斯民主思想作出的重大创新,超越了西方民主将民主简约化为选举民主的发展逻辑,为丰富和发展人类政治文明贡献了中国智慧和中国方案。新时代新征程,发展全过程人民民主要坚持以人民为中心的价值导向、坚持生产资料公有制不动摇、坚持党的全面领导、不断扩大人民有序政治参与。The democratic thought of Marx and Engels is a complete theoretical system.It takes truly guaranteeing the people's status as masters of the country as its value goal,is based on the public ownership of the means of production,takes the leadership of the proletarian Party as the fundamental guarantee,and takes the integrated guarantee of the people's right to vote,right to participate,right to supervise,etc.as its practical form.Whole-process people's democracy not only inherits the democratic thought of Marx and Engels,but also makes significant innovations to it in light of the practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.It transcends the development logic of Western democracy,which simplifies democracy to electoral democracy,and contributes Chinese wisdom and a Chinese solution to the enrichment and development of human political civilization.
