摘　　要：木雕艺术在古今中外广泛存在,是现代雕塑艺术的一个重要类别。中华民族的木雕艺术历史悠久,不同地域的木雕都有各自的特色,湘西传统木雕民族特色十分鲜明,突出体现了土家族人的信仰文化。笔者对其发展与推广情况进行研究,并提出新媒体视域下湘西传统木雕的传承分析,以期促进湘西木雕得到推广与发展。Wood carving art exists widely in ancient and modern,Chinese and foreign,and is an important category of modern sculpture art.The wood carving art of the Chinese nation has a long history,and the wood carvings in different regions have their own characteristics.The traditional wood carvings in western Hunan are very distinctive,highlighting the belief culture of the Tujia people.The author studies its development and promotion,and puts forward the inheritance and analysis of traditional wood carvings in western Hunan under the perspective of new media,in order to promote the promotion and development of wood carvings in western Hunan.
