A Study on the Version Systems of Wen Tingshi’s Ci Collection

摘　　要：文廷式词集的早期重要版本今存六种,按照文字的差异,其词集可明显分为以手稿本和徐刻本为代表的两大文字系统。《云起轩词》手稿本为文廷式亲手誊清,是对其词作旧稿的第一次集中修订整理,应写成于光绪二十六年(1900)。手稿本的修订还不是作者的终稿,不仅文字的修订没有最终完成,词作的编排也还没有一贯的次序。长沙振华印书局排印本《云起轩词钞》刊印于光绪三十四年(1908)十一月,其底本为汪恩至所传抄的文廷直抄本。徐刻本既收录了文廷式更晚期的词作,文字上却又保留着很多旧稿的状态。在生命的最后两年里,文廷式已着手编定词集,但没能完成。文廷式词集的两大系统有三个源头性的版本:手稿本系统的源头版本是今存王木斋家藏手稿,徐刻本系统的源头版本应是《芳荪室词录》原稿本和文廷式去世后的一个辑录本。There are six extant important early versions of Wen Tingshi’s ci collection,which can be distinctly categorized into two textual systems based on textual variations:the manuscript version and Xu’s printed edition.The autograph manuscript of Yunqi Xuan Ci(《云起轩词》),transcribed and revised by Wen Tingshi himself,represents the first systematic revision of his earlier ci drafts and was likely completed in the 26th year of the Guangxu reign(1900).However,this manuscript does not reflect the author’s final revisions,as neither the textual modifications nor the arrangement of the ci poems achieved definitive order.The typeset edition Yunqi Xuan Ci Chao(《云起轩词钞》),published by Changsha Zhenhua Printing Bureau in November 1908(the 34th year of Guangxu),was based on a transcript by Wen Tingzhi,which was passed down by Wang Enzhi.Xu’s printed edition,while incorporating ci works from Wen’s later period,retains many textual features of earlier drafts.During the last two years of his life,Wen Tingshi undertook the compilation of his ci collection but did not complete it.The two version systems originate from three foundational sources:the manuscript system derives from the autograph manuscript preserved in Wang Muzhai’s family collection,while Xu’s system stems from the original manuscript of Fangsun Shi Ci Lu(《芳荪室词录》)and a posthumous compilation of Wen’s works.
