Objective To analyze the application value of biological rearing in reducing the incidence of neonatal hypoglycemia in gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Methods According to the random number table method,a total of 80 neonates born to GDM mothers in the delivery room of our hospital between June 2022 and October 2023 were selected and divided into observation group and control group, with 40 cases in each group.Different feeding interventions were applied to the two groups. The incidence rates of hypoglycemia and borderline hypoglycemia at 1 and 3 hours postintervention,as well as maternal breastfeeding comfort levels, were compared between the groups. Results Significant differences were observed in the incidence rates of hypoglycemia and borderline hypoglycemia at 1 and 3 hours post-intervention between the two groups(t=7.792,5.556,9.785,6.588,all P<0.05).Additionally,there was a significant difference in maternal breastfeeding comfort levels between the groups (χ^(2)=21.245,P<0.05).Conclusion The use of biological nurturing in GDM neonates can significantly reduce the incidence of neonatal hypoglycemia and improve maternal breastfeeding comfort more effectively than conventional interventions. This method aligns with biological states and is worthy of clinical application.
