面向地理信息类专业的“三构四阶”“计算机图形学”教学改革

摘  要:“计算机图形学”是地理信息科学与地理空间信息工程专业(地理信息类专业)的必修基础课程,帮助学生理解地理信息工程中有关图形处理的底层逻辑、培养学生解决地理信息工程中图形处理问题的综合能力和高级思维。然而,受教材、授课教师背景等客观现实因素影响,地理信息类专业的“计算机图形学”存在教学内容“孤岛化”、教学方法“程式化”等问题。针对这一问题,文章提出了“三构四阶”“计算机图形学”教学改革,在理论主线、教学案例、实践教学三个维度重新构建教学内容,通过“地理信息工程实际问题导入、课堂深度解析、多层次验证、地理信息学科领域知识体系重构”的四阶递进教学方法,实现“从实际问题到科学问题”“从解决方法到工程应用”“从解决方法到设计实现”“从设计实现到知识内化”的层层深化。经过多年教学实践,本人执教的地理信息类专业的“计算机图形学”的教学质量有了很大提高,有效培养了学生使用“计算机图形学”知识解决地理信息复杂图形问题的意识。Computer Graphics is a basic course in geographic information science and geospatial information engineering major,helping students understand the underlying logic of computer mapping in geographic information engineering.The study of Computer Graphics will enhance students’comprehensive ability to address graphical processing challenges in geographic information engineering.However,as a result of inadequate textbooks,the teaching content often deviates from the requirements of geographic information specialty and the teaching approach is inflexible.Thus,a teaching practice of Computer Graphics in surveying and mapping geographic information course through“three-construction”and“four-progression”is proposed in this paper.Reconstructing teaching content in three dimensions-namely,theoretical mainline,teaching cases,and practical teaching-constitutes the concept of“Three Construction.”“Four-progression”-the four-step progressive pedagogical approach,encompasses the introduction of practical graphics problem in geographic information engineering,in-depth analysis in class,multi-tier practical teaching,and reconstruction of the geographic information domain knowledge framework.After years of dedicated teaching practice,the quality of Computer Graphics in surveying and mapping geographic information course has experienced significant enhancement.Students’awareness was developed in utilizing Computer Graphics knowledge to address intricate graphical problems in geographic information engineering.
