摘　　要：中国戏曲海外传播是中西文化交流传播的重要一环,同时也是比较文学研究的重要课题。张秋林教授的著作《〈琵琶记〉在英语世界的传播》摆脱了以往单一的翻译学视角,从中西戏曲与戏剧的本体特质出发,尤其是对英语世界的南戏传播,文本传播、舞台传播及学术研究传播进行了多层面解读,不仅提供了大量翔实的新资料,扩大了海外戏曲传播的视野,更为研究中国戏曲海外传播提供了一种新的思路和方法。这无疑推进了中国戏曲海外传播的学术研究与实践。The overseas dissemination of Chinese tradtional opera is an important part of cultural exchange and dissemination between China and the West,and it is also an important topic in comparative literature research.Professor Zhang Qiulin’s book The Spread of The Story of Pipa in the English World breaks away from the previous single perspective of translation studies and starts from the ontological characteristics of Chinese and Western opera and drama,especially the multi-level interpretation of the dissemination of Nanxi in the English world,including text dissemination,stage dissemination,and academic research dissemination.It not only provides a large amount of detailed new information,expands the perspective of overseas opera dissemination,but also provides a new way of thinking and method for studying the overseas dissemination of Chinese tradtional opera.This undoubtedly promotes academic research and practice in the overseas dissemination of Chinese tradtional opera.
