摘　　要：Facing growing competition from industrial fishing,climate change and new rules,traditional fishing communities in South China are struggling to retain their traditions and connection with the sea.Mornings at the port of lanmen are noisy and bustling,as boats return from distant waters amid the cacophony of buyers selecting and bargaining for the catch.Wicker baskets and polystyrene boxes teem with fish and seafood.Women wearing traditional straw hats sort through the fish by hand.
