摘 要:添加三异丁氧基钬的苯乙烯经本体聚合制备了掺钬聚苯乙烯新材料。用 FT-IR、XPS、SEM、DTA-TG和 DMTA等分析技术研究了钬对 PS性能的影响 ,并测定了掺杂物的冲击强度。结果表明 ,掺钬聚苯乙烯中存在着 Ho与苯环 π电子之间的配位作用 ,掺钬聚苯乙烯的热稳定性随着钬含量的增加而提高 ,其冲击强度有明显提高 ,并在钬的质量分数为 5 .0 %时达最高值 ,SEM和 DMTA分析从微观上解释了稀土钬对聚苯乙烯的增韧机理。Holmium doped polystyrene(Ho(i-C 4)/PS) was prepared by bulk polymerization of the mixture of styrene with tri-isobutoxide holmium and characterized by FT-IR, XPS, DTA-TG and DMTA as well as impact strength measurement. The results showed that coordination interaction exits in the doped PS between Ho and π electron of benzene ring. The thermal stability and the impact strength was significantly improved with increasing ω(Ho), the highest impact strength value was obtained as the ω(Ho) was 5.0% in the doped products. The toughening mechanism of the doped PS has been discussed based on the results from DMTA and SEM.
