摘　　要：以天津市区为例综合应用住宅计数法、面积(密度)法和模型法探讨城市小区域人口的遥感估算新途径.作者首先提出了人口遥感估算的理论基础,其次以遥感数据为基础推出了两种人口估算数学模型,最后就遥感技术实际应用于人口估算的原则问题提出了一些见解.This paper attempts to explore a new avenue of urban smallregional population estimation by remote sensing technology, comprehensively by using a residence count method, area (density) method and model method, and taking Tianjin City as an example. Firstly, the author proposes theoretical basis for population estimation by remote sensing. Secondly, two mathematical models of population are constructed on the basis of remote sensing data. Finally, some viewpoints on the principled problems about the practical application of remote sensing to population estimation are put forward.
