摘　　要：《呼啸山庄》是英国天才女作家艾米丽·勃朗特唯一的一部小说作品,通过深刻奇特的笔触刻画出两个家族间长达几十年的爱恨纠葛,其中主人公希斯克利夫扭曲的爱情悲剧尤为震撼人心。作者成功塑造出一个性格复杂多面、令人捉摸不透的男主人公形象,本文着重剖了析希斯克利夫的性格特征及其形成原因。Wuthering Heights is the only novel of Emily Bronte who has been regarded as the talented women writer in Eng-land.Through deep and magic presentation,Wuthering Heights has described us the hatred and love between two famalies in which the twisted love tragedy for Heathcliff has touched people deeply.The writer has succeeded in creating a hero with com-plicated and unpredictable characters.Through this thesis,we will focus on analyzing on Heathcliff's characters and causes.
