摘　　要：Both Marguerite and Pan Jin-lian are famous tragical female images. Corrupt social system and the hypocrisy of the moral system are the roots of the two women'tragedy. Facing the fate of injustice, Marguerite sacrifices her own happiness to satisfy her lover's family. Her choice embodies the beauty of human nature. While Pan Jin lian loses herself in the dark society, and becomes not only sensual but jealous. At last, she is despised by people. What revealed from her is the evil of human nature.Both Marguerite and Pan Jin-lian are famous tragical female images.
