摘　　要：有关海洋经济的统计资料显示,我国海洋经济与世界发达国家相比有很大的差距。在我国海洋产业中,海洋信息产业尤其薄弱。而信息也是创造社会财富、促进社会经济发展的战略资源。为此,发展我国海洋经济,必须加速数字海洋的图书馆建设,加强海洋信息服务。The statistics on the marine economy indicates that China' s marine economy has a long way to go,c ompared with that of the developed countries.In particular,China' s marine information industry is the weakest of all its marine industries.The information,however,is one of the strategic resources to create socia l wealth and to promote both social an d economic development.Therefore,it is necessary to speed up the con-struction of the digital marine libr ary and to strengthen marine informa tion service so as to develop China' s marine economy.
