试论中国古代西部经济开发政策

摘　　要：　在中国历史上,大凡"盛世"都注重对西部少数民族地区的开发与经营。而我国古代历朝中央通过移民屯垦、兴修水利、改善交通等基础设施建设,向西部地区传播内地先进技术和文化,促进了西部少数民族地区社会经济与文化的发展,加强了祖国统一,增进了民族团结,顺应了历史发展的潮流。总结历史经验,为当今国家西部发展战略提供某些借鉴,是十分有益的。In nearly all the 'flourishing ages' in the Chinese history,the governments laid emphasis on developing and managing the western minority areas. By means of migrating,opening up wasteland,building water conservancy projects,and improving the infrastructure constrution such as transportation,the central governments of different dynasties in ancient China propageted the inland advanced technology and culture to the western areas,brought about an advanice in the social economy and culture of the western areas, strengthened the reunification of the country and the unity of the nations,and complied with the developing trend of the history.It's very helpful to offer some reference for the developing strategy in the western areas by summarizing the historical experceinces.
