摘　　要：本文报道中国淡水蟹类一新种:平原华溪蟹Sinopotamon planum sp.nov.分布于浙江、江苏、安徽、山东四省。Sinopotamon planum sp. nov.Holotype ♂, allotype: ♀, paratypes: 3♂♂ (1 juv.) 2♀♀, Taihu, Jiangsu Province; 4♂♂ (1 juv.) 4♀♀ (4 juv.), Yixing County, Jiangsu Province, Aug. 18-22, 1978; 1♂ 1♀, Yixing County, Jiangsu Province, July 6, 1978; 1♂ (juv.) 1♀, Changxing County, Zhejiang. Province May 23, 1978; 13♂♂ (8 juv.) 11♀ (7 juv.), Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province, May 29 1985; 3♂♂ 1♀, Funan City, Anhui Province, J;n. 1982; 28♂♂ (14 juv.) 20♀♀(7 juv.), Jinan City, Li Cheng County, Shandong Province S pt. 13-14, 2986..Description: Carapace comparatively convex, regions conspicuously defined. Cervical groove and 'H'-shaped groove between gastric and cardiac regions distinguishable. Post-frontal lobes convex, post-orbital crest prominent. Frontal margin concaved medianly. Exorbital teeth acutely trianglar in shape, with 3-5 serraed teeth laterally. Epibranchial teeth acutely prominent. Antero-lateral margin with 15-17 serrates. Third maxilliped with merus about 1.2 times as broad as long, with ischium about 1.6 times as long as broad, the flagellum of its exopod stout, reaching to the proximal one third of merus, with flagellum.Chelipeds unequal, not very stout, merus short prismatic, carpus covered with squamous prominences outer-upperly, with a stout spine and a spinuale on inner-distal angle. Large manus about 1.5 times as long as high, about 1.1 times as long as long as movable finger, no gap between two fingers, their inner borders with blunt tooth. Ambulatory legs with short seta?on anterior borders.Male abdomen triangular in shape, sixth, segment about 2.1 times as broad as long, last segment about 1.6 times as broad as long. First male pleopod stout, reaching to the tubercle of 'he-fifth sternum, penultimate segment about 3.0-3.5 times as long as the last segment, with two> lobes unfolded completely and tapering to the end.Length of the male carapace 23.5-35.5 mm, breadth 28.5-42.8 mm; length of the female 23.5-26.5mm, breadth 29.5-31.6 mm.Remarks: This new species i
