摘 要:本文应用尼氏染色组织学方法,对黄喉鹀(Emberiza elegans)、黄雀(Carduclis spinus)和燕雀(Fringilla montifringilla)三种鸣禽的前脑发声控制核团(HVc,RA,Area X)进行了观察和比较。结果表明,这些核团的体积存在着显著的性双形性。雄鸟的核团体积均大于雌鸟(P<0.001)。说明鸟类鸣啭行为的性别差异是由其神经结构的形态不同所造成的。The volumes of forebrain nuclei HVc, RA and area X involved in vocal control were mea-sured in adult male and female songbirds (Emberize elegans, Carduelis spinus and Fringilla montifringilla) captured in the spring. Birds were sacrificed, their brain were weighed and 50 μm transverse sections were collected sequentially, and stained with cresyl violet for Nissl substance. The results show that the difference in the volumes of these nuclei between male and female was gighly significant (P<0.001). The volumes of forebrain nuclei HVc, RA and area X in males were approximately 4,2.8 and 2.7 times larger, respectively, than those of the females. These results confirmed previous findings. The sexual dimorphism of the volumes in these nuclei results in the differences in singing behavior of males and females.
