摘　　要：中国加入WTO后,知识服务业将成为推动知识经济发展的新的增长点,也给国内咨询业的发展带来了良好的机遇和不小的竞争压力。专业图书馆在开展知识服务中将大有可为。As China has become a WTO member, knowledge - based information services are surely to play an important role in developing knowledge - based economy. It both holds out fair chances and turns the heat of competition on reference service. Special libraries will put their potentiality to good use in offering knowledge - based information services.
