摘　　要：我国绝大多数贫困县集中在中西部地区,这些贫困县由于各种原因沉淀了丰富而独特的旅游资源,旅 游开发与扶贫有机结合将是消除西部贫困的有效途径,英国国际发展局(D F I D)提出的P P T旅游发展 战略,对于西部开发旅游资源消除贫困将有积极的指导意义。The great majority of poor counties in our country are concentrated in western region ,these poor counties precipitated the plentiful and special travel resources because of every kinds of reasons ,and the efficient combination between the traveling development and supporting poverty will be a valid path to dissolve poverty at the western region ,the Pro-Poor Tourism by English International Development Bureau will make positive leading significance in development of traveling resources and cancellation of poverty in westers region .
