摘　　要：介绍了使用J2EEJavaMail技术开发WebMail应用程序的设计过程 ,包括电子邮件相关协议 (SMTP、POP3、IMAP)和程序设计方法、JavaMail技术实现方法、XML文件检索方法以及发送与接收邮件时中文编码问题的解决办法。This paper aims to introduce a process of developing Web mail application using J2EE JavaMail technology. It discusses some elementary protocols(SMTP?POP3?IMAP) relative to E mail, and some programming techniques, such as the methods of implementing JavaMail technology and querying XML files as well as a solution of code transformation during sending and receiving Chinese mails. In the meantime, a model of the Web Mail application is given.
