竹业与西部地区生态环境建设及经济可持续发展

摘　　要：本文论述了西部地区一些省市竹类资源及其培育利用现状、竹业在地方经济发展和生态安全中的作用,认为西部一些省市的自然环境适合众多竹类植物生长,退耕还林、荒山造林和林种结构调整等工程为竹资源发展提供了机遇,竹业发展潜力大,前景好,是一项绿山富民的朝阳产业。并从竹业发展方针、高效竹林资源培育、竹产品加工利用、发展竹旅游业、重视科技投入和竹业发展促进政策等方面,对西部竹业发展提出了建议。In this article, the bamboo resources and the silviculture and utilization situation in western regions of China, and the bamboo industry role in the regional economic development and ecosafety are discussed. In some provinces and cities of western regions, the natural environment is suitable for growth of many bamboo species, and returning farmland to forestland, silviculture in barren hills and the regulation of the structure of forest species so forth provide the best chances for the development of bamboo resources. Bamboo industry is a vigour industry, through which greening the barren hills and making the local people prosperous, with great development latency and good prospect. Reasonable suggestions about bamboo industry development in western regions such as development policy, highefficient silviculture of bamboo resources, processing and utilization of bamboo products, bamboo tourism industry development, science technology investment, advance policy for bamboo industry, etc. are given.
