摘　　要：利用两期沙化土地属性数据、空间数据和文本数据,建立了沙化土地地理信息系统。应用沙化土地GIS统计分析功能和可视化优势,对其在沙化土地动态监测、沙尘暴预警、防沙治沙规划等方面的应用进行了探讨,同时对该系统在盐池县围城造林工程规划上的应用进行了简述。The paper introduces the Sandy and Desertification Land Geographic Information System, which is built by using the attribute data, spatial data, and text data of two periods With the descriptions of its functions of statistics and analyses and its visual superiority, the paper discusses the application in dynamic monitoring of the sandy and desertified land area, forecast of sand-dust storms, plan of combating desertification and so on Meanwhile, the paper states briefly its use for the plan of afforestation around Yanchi county 
