摘　　要：According to the introduction of Mexican architect Luis Barragan,those factors influencing his design ideas were analyzed in this study,which indicated that his works were affected by the local culture of Mexico to a great extent.Besides,the international and rural styles,the life in countryside during his childhood and the designer Beck also had a far-reaching impact on his works.Furthermore,Barragan's language for landscape design was also investigated,which suggested that some applied elements such as color,wall,water surface,light and horse were also influenced by the local life in Mexico.Finally,the significance and enlightenment of his works on landscape design in China was further illustrated.墨西哥现代主义建筑大师和风景园林大师路易斯·巴拉甘一生没有做过大型的建筑作品,也没有理论上的宏篇巨著,仅做过一些景观设计和住宅建筑,却在1980年获得普利茨凯建筑奖。巴拉甘的所有作品,都在极其微小的地方体现出一种特有的墨西哥本土文化气息和对理想家园的追寻。
