父爱的伟大与限度——浅论高老头的父爱悲剧

摘　　要：《高老头》是巴尔扎克的小说代表作,作品塑造了一位为了女儿甘愿付出一切的父亲——高老头的形象。高老头的结局充满了悲剧色彩,伟大的父爱没有换来两个女儿的孝顺和亲情,反而遭到了无情的遗弃。探讨其悲剧原因,既有高老头的自身因素——他对女儿毫无原则、没有底线的溺爱,也有资产阶级金钱至上的社会因素,正是这两个因素导致了高老头的悲剧结局。Father Goriot is the representative masterpiece of Honoréde Balzac.The novel depicts the figure Father Goriot who is devoted to doing any deeds for his daughters,but the novel is filled with tragic ending.The great paternal love could not recall the daughters’filial piety and affection but abandonment.As for the causes resulting into the tragedy,there are not only the factors due to Father Goriot himself for he spoiled his daughters,but also the social factors of money supremacy of the bourgeoisie.Those results in the tragic ending of Father Goriot.
