摘　　要：五代时期,马殷在湖南建立了楚国。由于马氏父子采取了"养士息民"之策,经济上出现了短暂繁荣,文化上有所创新,丰富了湖南古代历史文化宝库。The MaChu Realm was set up in Hunan by Ma Ying during the Five Dynasties (Later Liang, Later Tang, Later Jin, Later Han and Later Zhou). It was because Ma Ying and his sons adopted the internal policy of maintaining an army and reassuring people that there appeared a temporary prosperity in its economy and culture. Hunan's ancient historical cultural treasure was thus enriched.
