摘　　要：水路内贸集装箱运输在欧美等发达国家的运输体系中占有比较重要的地位,是货物运输的主要方式之一.由于集运占地小、运量大、耗能少、污染低等特点,使其成为各航运强国大力扶植的对象.China's 18-thousand-kilometer-long coastal line and 11-thousand-kilome-ter-long inland waterway have cemented a good foundation for the development of domestic container transportation. In contrast with the globally slump-ing shipping industry, the throughput of domestic container transport marks adrastic growth. According to related estimation, domestic container transport capacity will reach 2.6m teu by 2005 and 16m ten by 2010, with an annual growth rate of 18%, much higher than that of the international container transportation. Domestic container transportation is emerging as a dark horse.
