摘　　要：图象压缩单元是一个嵌入式系统。用软件算法在DSP系统上实现图象压缩。软件的开发采用混合语言编程 ,即图象压缩算法采用C语言编程 ,其它软件模块采用汇编语言编写。采用小波变换和零树编码的方法 ,达到了卫星要求的压缩比。Image compression unit is an embedded system.The image compression is implemented at DSP systerm with software.The development of the unit's software is made by use of mixed language.That is to say that image compression algorithm is programmed in C language and other software modules are written in assembly language.The core algorithm of this DSP system has made use of wavelt transform and zero-tree coding methods, which can attain the required compression ratio.
