摘　　要：NAS relies on TCP/IP network to share files,but traditional TCP/IP protocol stack takes up too much CPU overhead,which slows down the data traffic greatly.The DAFS protocol is a new file-access protocol designed to take advantages of emerging RDMA and will dramatically enhance the performance of storage networking.DAFS is based on the virtual interface protocol,which can run over three different types of network,Ethernet plus IP,Infiniband and Fibre Channel.NAS relies on TCP/IP network to share files,but traditional TCP/IP protocol stack takes up too much CPU overhead,which slows down the data traffic greatly.The DAFS protocol is a new file-access protocol designed to take advantages of emerging RDMA and will dramatically enhance the performance of storage networking.DAFS is based on the virtual interface protocol,which can run over three different types of network,Ethernet plus IP,Infiniband and Fibre Channel.
