摘　　要：根据E-mail系统所要实现的功能和软件的界面友好性,将该系统(LKE-mail)划分为用户界面、邮件维护、新闻组和网络通信4个模块,并介绍了各模块的实现原理和方法。其中新闻组功能是Linux环境下其它E-mail软件不曾涉及的。The linux's GUI isn't so friendly and its application software isn't so abundant that its desktop application is less than server-side. This paper introduced the development of an e-mail system under the linux. The LKE-mail has been divided into four parts: user inerface, e-mail maintained, newsgroup and network communication based on its functions and user interface friendly. The newsgroup is in e-mail system at the first time under the linux.
