摘　　要：针对国际对畜禽种质资源利用、保护的监管现状 ,就建立国家畜禽种质资源监督检测中心的必要性和迫切性 ,特别是我国加入 WTO以后 ,畜禽种质资源面临的竞争 ,着重从畜禽种质特性检测及种畜禽质量监督鉴定 ,畜禽种质资源动态监测及资源编目 ,渐危、濒危和稀有畜禽种质的保护和抢救三个方面较详细论述建立该中心的工作任务及其历史赋予的使命。It is necessary to establish inspection and Testing Center of Animal Genetic Resources based on the situation of conservation and utilization animal genetic resources. In order to increase competitive ability after China enters WTO, testing and monitoring systems for animal genetic resources need to be establishment, and documentation and conservation of animal genetic resources need to be strengthened.
