摘　　要：笔者就农业研究信息系统的内涵与特征进行了系统研究。探讨了农业科学研究的内涵、农业研究活动的分类及边界特征。提出了农业信息的 4个基本特性 :农业信息的时效性、农业信息的区域适用性、农业信息源的分散性和农业信息的综合配套性。阐述了农业研究信息系统的基本概念和定义。The present article researched the connotation and characters of Agricultural Research Information System. There was discussion on the denomination of agricultural scientific research and the classification and limited characters of agricultural research activities. It was concluding four Agricultural Information characters: opportunity, regional applicability, decentralization and integration. The text put forward the basic concept and denomination of the Agricultural Research Information System.
