用顺序混合方法研究构建验证管理理论探析

摘　　要：基于对相关文献和国内外五种管理学顶级期刊发表的典型论文进行分析,本文探讨了运用顺序混合方法构建和验证管理理论的设计策略与应用技巧。研究表明:(1)用顺序混合方法构建与验证理论的前提是研究者需选择一个适合顺序混合设计策略探究的管理理论问题;(2)针对不同的管理问题,要采用具有不同特性、优缺点、适用条件的顺序混合设计策略;(3)研究者需严格遵守顺序混合方法的写作规范与技巧;(4)由于国内尚缺乏高水平的论文,因此国内学者需要加速学习和掌握如何运用顺序混合方法进行管理理论的构建与验证。Based on an analysis of the related literature and classical articles published on the five top management journals at home and abroad,this paper discusses the design strategies and application skills of sequential mixed methods research( SMMR)in building and testing management theory. We found that:( 1) using SMMR to build and test management theory is based on the premise that researchers should select a management theory problem that is suitable for using SMMR to explore;( 2) for different management issues,researchers should adopt different SMMR design strategies with different characteristics,advantages and disadvantages,applying conditions and application skills;( 3) researchers should strictly comply with the writing mechanics and skills of SMMR; and( 4) owing to a lack of high- level academic papers,there is an urgent need for Chinese scholars to learn and acquire how to use SMMR to build and test management theory.
