摘　　要：本文介绍了国际数学家大会和数学最高奖 -菲尔兹奖的由来 ,以及第 2 4届北京国际数学家大会的申办与召开。This article aims to introduce the International Congress of Mathematicians and review the origin of Fields Medal Prize, the most prestigious prize in the field of mathematics. In addition, the 24th International Congress of Mathematicians held in Beijing will also be introduced.
