摘　　要：概述了JPEG2000图像编码系统，通过图例详细分析了JPEG2000的图像压缩编码过程 ，最后论述了JPEG2000的网络应用前景。This article explaines the basic part of JPEG image compression algo rithm. JPEG2000 image compression algorithm provides many new features against s tandard JPEG algorithm as well as improved compression rate and efficiency. Ba se d on its characteristics and the status of the Internet, it will have clear p ros pect in its application in network and other area.
