摘　　要：介绍了粤海铁路通道的概况以及建设的背景,阐述了粤海铁路通道建设的必要性,指出建设跨海铁路对社会生活带来的积极影响。粤海铁路通道建设中,湛海铁路和海南西环铁路都是常规铁路,没有技术难题,主要技术问题集中在跨海轮渡上,本文介绍了跨海轮渡系统的组成、关键技术及其解决方案,并与世界其他国家的跨海轮渡进行了比较。The paper gives an overview of the Guangdong-Hainan railway corridor and its construction background, as wellas the necessity of building the railway, the positive effect on the social life brought about by the construction. Of allthe parts of the railway, Zhanjiang-Hainan railway and Hainan Island west-coastal railway are the ordinary railwayswith no technical difficulties, but the railway ferry part is a great challenge. The paper further explains the composition,key technologies and solutions of the railway ferry and compares those with the similar ones in other countries.
