摘　　要：介绍了北京大学图书馆在创建一流大学过程中进行分馆数据库建设的指导原则和具体做法,取得的初期成果,分析了分馆建设和中心馆工作的互动作用,提出了分馆建设引发的反思,同时也介绍了回溯编目依靠专业队伍突击完成的经验体会。In this article, the author introduced how the branch libraries in Peking University integrated into the main library system and built up the catalog, what policy they followed and how much they archived so far. The paper also makes analysis on the interactivities between branch libraries and the main library of the University and finally describes and recommends the successful experience of retrospective cataloging undertook by the temporary staff.
