摘 要:最初开发的 L ow- E玻璃主要用于寒冷地区 ,以降低能源的消耗。但是由于双银 L ow- E玻璃在保持较高透光率的同时 ,又能反射阳光红外部分的能量 ,所以它亦能用于温暖地区 ,以节省空调的费用。本文介绍一种最近开发的基于 Twin- Mag技术溅射沉积 Ti O2 和 Si3N4 的新的 L ow- E镀层。这里采用高折射率的 Ti O2 作为底层是为了提高玻璃的透光率 ,而且玻璃呈中性颜色。另外 ,采用 Twin- Mag制备的 Ti O2 膜表面非常光滑 ,因而改善了银膜的导电率。顶层的 Si3N4 是一种非常坚硬的材料 ,它确保了整个镀层具有良好的机械耐久性。本文还对基于 Ti O2 / Si3N4 的单银 L ow- E和基于 Zn O的双银 L ow- E镀层之间的特性进行比较。近年来 ,由于汽车设计者大量采用了大面积而且更为倾斜的风挡玻璃 ,因此在汽车中降低阳光辐射的需求已日益增加。由于 L ow - E玻璃能够反射太阳能量 ,所以用它作为汽车风挡玻璃是一个降低车厢温度的有效方法。目前大量生产低成本、高性能的 L ow- E风挡玻璃的途径就是采用磁控溅射工艺先在平板玻璃上镀膜 ,然后再送去弯曲、层压和回火。然而这种镀层必须能够承受冷端处理和加热到玻璃弯曲点的温度 ,同时还要保持原有降低阳光辐射能量的性能不变。目前在国外已经开发了这种可热处理的LowE glass was developed originally for reducing the energy consumption in cold zone. In warm zone, double silver LowE glass can save the airconditioning energy also because it has a pronounced increase in infrared reflectance, while the transmittance in the visible range is maintained at a high level.This paper presents the recently developed LowE coating based on TwinMag sputtered TiO2 and Si3N4 layers. The high index of TiO2 for the transparent layer gives the window glass neutral color and high visible transmittance. Furthermore, the TiO2 layers produced by the TwinMag process have very smooth surface, which improves the electrical conductivity of the silver film. The top layer, Si3N4, is very hard which ensures the excellent durability of the complete coating. In this paper, a comparison of new LowE coating with double silver LowE coating is given.The need for reducing solar radiation in vehicles has greatly increased in recent years as automotive designers use more glass with larger and more steeply sloped windshields. The use of solar reflective LowE glass as a windshield is more effective in reducing temperature in vehicles. The most effective method in glass industry of high volume production of a LowE glass in low cost employs the magnetron sputtering process using a flat glass coater. The flat coated glass is then subsequently bent and laminated or tempered. However, the coating must bear the cold end processing and the heating to the bending temperature of glass, while retaining the ability to reduce solar radiation. Recently, the heat treatable LowE glass has been developed that is finding wide uses today in both the automotive and building industries. To achieve a high temperature durability of the coating the individual layer should be very dense and without porosity. For this reason, all transparent layers are sputtered in the TwinMag technique.
