叙事技巧背后的伦理选择——《金色的耶路撒冷》的叙事伦理学解读

摘　　要：玛格丽特·德拉布尔(Margaret Drabble)是当代英国文坛最具影响力的女作家之一,《金色的耶路撒冷》作为其早期的代表作品,出版后在学术界激起了巨大反响。从叙事伦理学的角度解读《金色的耶路撒冷》是对德拉布尔及其小说研究的一次新尝试。通过对小说中基本叙事技巧的研究,如叙事者的伦理干预、零聚焦视点、持续的内心透视等方法来解读小说的叙事伦理,读者能积极地参与到文本中,更为深刻地体验克拉拉的个体命运,使其逃离单纯的道德审判。Margaret Drabble( 1939-) is one of the most influential female writers of modern Britain in the area of literature. Jerusalem the Golden,as one of the early works of Drabble,has drawn public attention since its publication. The study of Jerusalem the Golden from the perspective of narrative ethics is a new trial for Drabble and her works. By studying the narrative techniques,the narrator's ethical intervention,the employment of non-focalization and the sustained inside view,this essay tries to explore the narrative ethics inside the novel. Through the objective study of novel's narrative structure,readers are able to participate into the novel to experience Clara's individual fate,and Clara is able to escape from being morally judged. Drabble vividly depicts a young intellectual female who experiences the spiritual journey from confusion to maturity: she dares to challenge the social tradition,seek self- value and achieve spiritual breakout.
