摘　　要：分布式OS是发挥分布式计算机系统潜在计算能力的核心软件,PDPOS提供了机间通信与同步机制,完善了系统请求及进程管理机制,并在全局范围内实现了文件共享。PDPOS支持的Ada程序并行运行环境、能将Ada程序自动分解成若干可并行执行包,然后将它们分配到不同机器上并行执行,使Ada程序的运行速度得到了明显提高。The distributed OS is the main software to exploite effectively the potential computing power in distributed computer system. The PDPOS provides the mechanism of communicating and synchronizing among the nodes. It makes file sharing in the whole system possible and makes the mechanism of system requesting and process managing perfect. The environment supported by PDPOS, can partition an Ada program into several parallel executable packages automatically, and then dispatch them to different processors to run in parallel fashion, which makes the running speed of the Ada program raise remarkably.
